About this Dog
Meet Forrest!!! Forest is 4 year old male hound that came to us from a pound in Ohio. Forrest is a total sweetheart, and is great with other dogs and cats. His velvety soft ears will melt your heart. Hound lovers will fall in love with Forrest! Here's what his current foster has to say about him: Forrest is a long-legged coonhound who is loving and goofy! He has some of the typical hound traits; mainly - he bays/howls out when he sees a suspicious critter outside of the fenced-in yard. He of course is just letting his foster parents know to come check out it! He seems like he could have been used for hunting in his past life. He wants to jump right up into the crate in the back of the car when needing to go for rides. He also gets excited when its time for all the dogs to go out, letting out a howl, but otherwise is content in his crate when foster parents are gone for work and at night. He's had no accidents in his crate and enjoys the time in the large fenced yard playing with the other resident dogs. He is food motivated, (but what hound isn’t?!?) and can’t wait for his next meal or treat! Forrest came from an animal control facility in Ohio where he was at risk of being euthanized. His skin was inflamed, and he had some hair loss. After getting some proper nutrition and medications, his coat is growing back in and his skin is no longer red and inflamed. He has put on some weight and he is around 75 lbs. and between 3-4 yrs old. He loves being scratched and lets you pet his long, velvety ears. He would really benefit from a home with a fence or a place to run and explore, and a canine friend to do it with! Interested in fostering or adopting? Adopt Forrest and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Forrest's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Forrest's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Forrest, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Forrest's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Forrest was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Forrest’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Forrest’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Forrest’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
