To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Ginny is a sweet, smart, and stunningly beautiful 20-week-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy. She currently weighs about 30 pounds—and is growing fast! She’s expected to be a large dog when fully grown and is already showing off her confident, loving personality.Ginny is playful and curious, thriving in her foster home as she explores the world, plays with toys, and learns her puppy manners. She knows how to sit, lie down and ring a bell to go outside. She is learning how to stay and heel. Ginny is 90% house trained. She has an occasional accident, especially if she is really excited. She loves being outdoors and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can roam and sniff to her heart’s content. She’s been around small and large dogs and holds her own just fine. She’s also interested in the household cat—she likes him and often sniffs and play-bows, but will chase when he doesn’t accept her playful advances. A dog-savvy cat is best. While Ginny enjoys cuddling, she has an independent side too. She wants to know where you are but is content on her own, across the room, laying and playing on the cooler hardwood floor. She is kennel trained and goes right in when her foster is gone from the home. At night she will sleep in or out of her crate on the floor downstairs coming up in the morning to wake her foster up to go outside and have her breakfast. Ginny loves everyone she meets. Kids really get her attention. Like any young puppy, she has sharp little teeth and will need lots of chew toys. She is learning her manners and her playingful nipping is almost nipped in the bud! She would do better in a home without babies and toddlers, but older children would be great. Ginny was patient and gentle with a 3.5 year old girl pulling her around on a leash. With adult supervision of course. Ginny is looking for her loving forever family. One who is ready for a large, loyal, and intelligent pup. With continued training, patience, and space to play, Ginny will make a wonderful lifelong companion!Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.

Adopt Ginny and Receive Ginny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ginny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ginny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ginny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ginny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ginny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ginny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
