Born: 4/16/25 | Weight: 4 lbs | Spayed FemaleSay hello to Cari, a striking little explorer with warm amber eyes and the most expressive ear tufts you’ve ever seen! With a sweet temperament inherited from her mom (who had Forest Cat traits), Cari is the perfect mix of independent spirit and gentle affection. She loves to give kisses and no bites!Cari is an adventurer at heart—confident, curious, and always up for discovering new corners of the house. She adores a good solo nap in a sunny spot but is equally happy to join her siblings for some playful pouncing or cozy cuddles. She’s not demanding for attention, but when she wants snuggles, you’ll know—and you’ll melt.Cari grew up in a foster home with cats of all ages, respectful dogs, and children, and she’s handled it all like a pro. Her calm, friendly nature makes her a great fit for many types of homes—from active families to peaceful households looking for a low-key companion. If you’re looking for a kitten with the heart of an explorer and the soul of a sweetheart, Cari might just be your perfect match. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.

100% of Carnitas's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Carnitas.
Adopt Carnitas and Receive Carnitas's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Carnitas's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Carnitas's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Carnitas, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Carnitas's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Carnitas was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Carnitas’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Carnitas’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Carnitas’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
