Meet The Suitcase Squad: Small but Mighty Heroes Looking for a Fresh Start Arriving July 12, 2025 Chicka, Mikasa, Sailor, Tomo, Akira, Itachi, Naruto, and Goku may be named after iconic anime characters—but their real-life origin story is even more dramatic. These tiny pups were found abandoned in a suitcase at a park, just days old, with nothing but a heartbreaking note that read "life sucks didn't know what else to do." But despite the cruel start they were given, these babies are proving to be resilient, full of heart, and ready to write a new story—this time with love, safety, and forever homes. The Anime Litter will be arriving at 6 weeks old and must remain in a minimum of pairs until they are 8 weeks old and officially ready for adoption. During those first couple of weeks, they’ll lean on each other for comfort and confidence as they grow, explore, and begin to experience kindness from humans. These little warriors survived something unthinkable, and now they’re ready for the love and security they deserve. If you’re interested in opening your home and heart to one of these puppies, stay tuned—they’ll be ready to go home at 8 weeks old, but applications will be open before then! For now they need foster homes. Because life doesn’t have to suck—not when you have puppy kisses and second chances. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and The Suitcase Squad was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, The Suitcase Squad’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the The Suitcase Squad’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, The Suitcase Squad’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
