About this Dog
Booger is a total sweetheart and an instant best friend in the making. With his beautiful golden eyes and always-smiling face, he wins people over wherever he goes. He loves being near his humans and clearly came from a home where he was well cared for and socialized. Booger is affectionate, people-focused, and the kind of dog who wants to be a lap dog—despite being 40 pounds. He’s already showing off good manners in his foster home. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained and has quickly learned the household routine. He knows commands like sit, stay, down, come, leave it, and kennel. Booger can get a little too excited when greeting people and may jump up for attention, but he’s eager to learn and just wants to share his love. With continued consistency, he’ll master those greeting manners in no time. Booger enjoys walks, chew toys, sniffing out rabbits and birds in the yard, and the occasional game of fetch—especially if a frisbee is involved. He’s quiet most of the time and only barks if something startles him. He’s also great with kids, loves belly rubs and butt scratches, and will happily settle down near you when it’s time to relax. He’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is best. And while he hasn’t been fully tested with other dogs, he’s happy to be the center of attention in a solo-pup household. Shoes are an irresistible temptation for this curious guy, so it’s best to keep them tucked away—he’s still a bit mischievous when it comes to laces. Booger would thrive with a family who wants a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion who already knows how to be part of a home. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Adopt Booger and Receive Booger's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Booger's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Booger's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Booger, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Booger's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Booger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Booger’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Booger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Booger’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
