About this Dog
Hi. My name is Clifford, and I am a Lab mix born approx 12/7/23. I met my foster parents in a Cub parking lot, foster Mom crouched down to meet me, and I snuggled in real hard, melted in her arms. Since then, I have been her new shadow. She says I have some 'battle scars' both physically and mentally from my past, the world seems like a bi,g scary place, but I am coming out of my shell and starting to show my playful side. I am not even afraid of loud noises in the shop, such as table saws and air compressors. I am potty trained, but had only 2 accidents because I was afraid of being picked up. I am a bit timid & cower down when people reach down to me. I do like my kennel, I like to go hang out in there willingly to play with toys & nap. I sleep in the kennel all night, too. When they leave me in the kennel and leave the house, I bark. One time, I barked for about 10 minutes, then settled down & took a nap. A couple of other times, I barked and howled for an hour or two. Separation anxiety?! Yesterday we went for a car ride, I did great and no barking when they went to shop. I do not pull on the leash when out for walks. Mom says I want to please, know some basic commands, and with some work I can learn quickly. My energy level is pretty mellow right now, I really like to nap! I have not met any other dogs, cats, or children yet, but my bio from June 1st on NDLB /Facebook says I am good with other dogs. The only naughty thing I have done was to drag out a sock or two, a shoe, & pj pants. Not sure if they would get chewed up, or just snuggled with! Mom says I am a great cuddler, and as cute as can be! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

Adopt Clifford and Receive Clifford's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Clifford's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Clifford's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Clifford, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Clifford's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Clifford was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Clifford’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Clifford’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Clifford’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
