Meet Walt! Walt is a Border Collie mix with an estimated birthday of February 2025. He has a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! This little guy is the perfect mix of cuddly and curious. He’s playful, smart, and already picking up on routines like a pro. True to his breed, Walt is a bright pup who’s eager to learn and please. He loves toys, belly rubs, and following his humans around the house. He’s doing great with crate training and is well on his way with potty training. Walt would thrive in a home ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with a growing pup—especially one that can keep his active mind and body engaged. Whether it’s adventures in the yard or snuggles on the couch, Walt is ready to be your best friend for life. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Walt was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Walt’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Walt’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Walt’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
