Introducing... Quita the Queen of tummy tax! She (3y 50lb) is the super mutt you've always wanted. Quita came to MN from Mexico and has had a pretty sweet upgrade from wandering the streets. Quita is always excited to have people come and see her, that IS the only reason people show up! Quita is also a popular pup at the campground when she goes exploring with her foster family! She does get car sick, but her foster mom's got it figured out. Regardless, she still loves to be with you, no matter where! She loves to run up and flop on her back for her collection of tummy taxes. Quita has officially kicked her foster dad off the couch and stolen his spot, she's pretty much queen of the couch. She's calm and loves attention, but also loves to run and greet the neighbor dogs through the fence and run around after a squirrel or bunny! She knows her name, how to sit, and shake - if there are snacks involved. Quita would love to have a home with another dog, or two! She is currently being fostered with 2 small (RRR alumni!) dogs, and has lots of fun! She would probably love to be with dogs around her size or age, but she seems to get on with most! She could be fine around cats, she didn't pay much mind when she met some. Quita is the sweetest little pup we have ever had the pleasure of bringing to our rescue! You won't be di sappointed. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Quita's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Quita was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Quita’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Quita’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Quita’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
