About this Dog
Buddy has got to be the most loving dog you could find! He is a total love sponge, wants to be with you, all day and night long kind of buddy! He came to us as an unclaimed stray and he has just shown himself to be a wonderful dog. He gets along with other dogs (we have yet to cat test him, but could). He loves to go to the dog park, he loves to chase a ball, and/or just have balls around him. He loves to be active with you, but then is the best snuggle buddy, and will lay in a dog bed near your feet whilst you work on the computer. Buddy would be great for those who work from home or who have an active family with kids. Buddy has so much love to give, it's amazing, and the more the merrier! (Kids would be awesome!). He does love to have something to chew on from time to time (bully sticks, etc.) He does loves his meals! Buddy's sweet, mostly compliant nature is just a win over. To know him, is to love him. Buddy is approximately 3-5 years old and about 76 lbs. Buddy did test positive for Lyme Disease and Anaplasmosis and was treated for any active infections. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines and on preventatives. Buddy is also now reliably housetrained and crate-trained! We would love to see Buddy go to an excellent home interested in giving him what he may have missed out on. Buddy is a solid, exceptional dog. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
