About this Dog
Hi, I’m Riley, a 3 year old female Pyrenees weighing about 75 pounds. Have you ever heard of a gentle giant? Well, that’s me! I am a very sweet girl that loves to cuddle, be around my people, and relax. I’ll gently nudge your hand when I want pets. I love meeting new people, especially kids, and I’d be the happiest pup alive if my new family had a kiddo. I’ve met dogs of all sizes (20-70 pounds) and do great with them all. I’m not super active but I’ll occasionally wrestle or play tug-of-war. On rare occasions, I’ll get a burst of energy and start chasing my tail. It always makes my foster parents laugh! I haven’t met any cats or critters in rescue but I’m willing to try! I did live on a farm so it’s possible I’ve been exposed to all sorts of animals in the past. I am completely potty trained! I’m not a fan of the kennel but I’m doing better every day. Once I’m settled in my new home, I could be left out of the kennel during the day. My leash skills could use some work - I’m just a very strong girl so I will pull. True to my breed, I take my guard dog duties very seriously and I’ll let out some big barks when I hear noises outside. My foster mom thinks I’m a valuable member of the neighborhood watch! I also do well in the car. I finished heartworm treatment in May so I’ll need to be low activity until October. Honestly, that’s just fine with me because I’d rather be snoozing. I’m the best dog that would do well in most households. You’ll love me! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

Adopt Riley and Receive Riley's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Riley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Riley's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Riley, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Riley's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Riley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Riley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Riley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Riley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
