About this Dog
Meet Westley! Born around December 3rd, 2024, Dark, handsome, 6 month old pup, Lab/ Shepard mix. He's looking for a home with toys, sticks and balls to play with, and a crate which I love to sleep in. No worries about potty training with me, I'm "0" for "0" as far as accidents in the home! I do still need someone to guide me in keeping up with my manners; like 'sit", "wait", "no", "leave it", 'come", and "crate". So far at my current foster, I've learned to wait and sit for my food which I usually eat in my crate, and sit and wait before going in or out the door. Humans always go first or if I get the "ok" to go threw. I love going on walks, but I'm still working on my leash manners with the help of some training devices. I love water and playing with the hose, but don't let that fool you, when I need to protect and alarm someone is coming, beware!! For a 6 month old pup I have a very big and deep bark! Sometimes because of the Shepard part of me, I like to herd people and other dogs, and nip at them if they don't go where I want. My foster said "no herding people", and absolutely "No nipping" when herding! The herding part is just my nature. So sometimes I forget that and I need reminders not to do the nipping part. Anyway I just am looking for a friendly and safe new home where I can finish growing up in and spend the rest of my irresistible loving cute self there. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595

Adopt Westley and Receive Westley's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Westley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Westley's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Westley, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Westley's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Westley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Westley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Westley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Westley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
