Welcome Bertha to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 8 week old puppy that is now getting weaned and will be ready for her forever home. She is a big puppy and should weigh 65 pounds full grown. She has the Great Pyrenees toes on her back feet. She is shorter than some of the other puppies and she is big and stocky. She has a beautiful white coat and the volunteers here at the rescue have her bathed and brushed for her photo shoot. She weighs about 14 pounds already. She gets along well with her siblings. She is one of 9 puppies. She has a wonderful mother and this entire litter is sweet and gentle. She would be great for someone wanting to raise a large breed dog. She is a guardian breed and will be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She will need a fence over underground fencing. This is typical of this breed. She is good in a crate and good in a car. She is decent at baths and has already had a toenail clipping. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful trasporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bertha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bertha’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bertha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bertha’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
