About this Dog
Hi, I’m Jilly, an outgoing, loving Bichon. We Bichons are known for our cheerful, kind, playful dispositions. That is exactly who I am, with everyone I meet. I greet people with affection, joy, and eagerness to please. My idea of the perfect family: We are the best of both worlds for a family who’s home a lot – but who may need to be out during the day. When you’re with us, you will be snuggled and followed around by your two loyal companions. When you’re away, we are calm, quiet, and happy because we’re together. When you can take us with you, we will hop into our car safety seat, let you buckle us in, and quietly enjoy the ride. Things that make me happy: I love exploring everything, running around and playing, getting long belly rubs, napping beside my humans with my head resting on Mika, giving kisses, and rolling around in soft blankets. I’m not into dog treats, but I love mealtimes. And I really love chew toys! If they’re squeaky, even better. Crate-trained: We don't like being shut in a crate or kennel with the door closed and will get vocal. The good news: when we need to be contained, we quietly hang out in our soft-side, open-top, cushioned octagon kennel, in our foster mom's room, with access to a hallway, and two wee pads. We haven't had an accident in that area for weeks. Things I’m learning: I’ve started enjoying long walks and short runs on the leash. I’m also working on potty training, and showing continuous improvement going potty outside. I’ve gotten really good about using wee pads in the house but do still have accidents. Why us? Not to brag, but I’ll share this: my foster family has owned and fostered many, many dogs over the years and they are unanimous about this: you will probably never meet another dog (not to mention a pair of dogs) who are more generous with their love and devotion for you. We love children. We love adults of all ages (even the groomer and the veterinarian). We will make you smile, give you kisses and cuddles, and we will follow you wherever you go, wagging our tails behind you. Thank you for taking the time to read this far. I hope you’d like to meet us and give us a chance to join your family and enjoy many years of happiness with you. XOX Jilly. *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Jilly and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jilly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Jilly's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Jilly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jilly's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jilly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jilly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."

We want the Jilly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jilly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
