About this Dog
Look, I’ll invite you to my monologue in a second, but the first thing I gotta do is destroy this rope. I’m Danny DeVito, some call me the entertainer, some the snuggler, and I’ll tell ya straight from the horse's mouth, I’m a short stack of the best kind of French Bulldog on the market. 20 lbs of straight muscle this guy. I got other nicknames like HouDanny because I’m a sneaky prankster, I disappear and I sniff around where I ought not to, so ya gotta keep an eye on me. You’ll find me if ya just use your own schnozz because I got that earth shattering gas sometimes that smells like I ate a jar of bean dip. I am kinda cute though because my foster mother calls me Wiggle Pig. I accept it because my snores are adorable and I’ll greet you using my whole body. I’ll tell ya what makes me happy, being around a human that will accept my attention and give me toys. What else? Baths. Sittin’ under hot water, relaxin’, having a good time, there’s no other dog that could soap-up like me, it’s like an oasis, I’d do it for hours if I could. While I’m doing that, why don’t ya grab me one of those nylon bones and put it on some blankets, or a cozy spot. And ugh, food too. I’ll eat anything. That’s my biggest motivator, treats and grub, that will give me a taste of the good life. Going down stairs wasn’t meant for my frog body, be ready to watch me tumble after two steps. Do us both a favor and carry me down. If I gotta number two I’ll bark, but number one, we gotta work on routine and schedule. Also I'm still trying to figure out the leash thing, but I don’t go far from my foster ma when I’m outside as it is. Speaking of, when we have snow outside, I think, “what is this nonsense?!”, and I’ll run back complaining in discontent if I’m in a yard. The snow hits my belly, and doggone it's cold!! I’ve learned quickly that people are great to sit on and get warm. I’ll probably conk out there while you watch the tube. Actually, you’ll probably conk out with me because I'll wake you up everyday at 6:00 a.m. barking if I'm in a crate because I gotta use the bathroom. Cocka-doodle-doo to you my friend. Haha, the early bird catches the worm. I can be around cats and dogs, or a crew of both, but I don’t require one in my new home. Not sure how I am around kids, I haven’t met them. If you say “outside” or “come” I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that, maybe I did, maybe I didn’t, just say it louder because I likely got distracted. So what do ya say, do you think you want to be my new best friend? *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. Bulldogs are a member of the Brachycephalic breed and therefore have a host of health issues that may arise. Because these dogs are new into our rescue, health issues in the future may arise that we are not aware of. Some of these issues are allergies, eye issues, yeast infections, interdigital cysts, slipped disks in their back, breathing problems, among a host of others that can occur at any time or when seasons change. While breed experience is not required, we encourage you to thoroughly research the breed and its financial, medical, and environmental needs to be sure the breed is a good fit for you and your family. It is estimated that the average bulldog owner spends $2,000 per year on medical needs. In addition to normal pre adoption surgeries, Danny Devito also had surgery on his nares and soft palate to improve the quality of his breathing. This is reflected within her adoption fee. Bulldogs are one of the most expensive dogs to own, maintain, and rescue and our adoption fees reflect such expenses. The application process for bulldogs usually moves quite quickly as they are a popular breed, so we ask that adopters do research and be prepared for adoption at the time you submit your application. They are happy, goofy, playful characters and we are excited you are taking the first steps into rescuing one! This dog requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void. We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Bulldog Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee. Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the bulldog. Our goal is place bulldogs in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the bulldog, we will not approve your application. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Danny Devito and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Danny Devito's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Danny Devito's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Danny Devito, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Danny Devito's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Danny Devito was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Danny Devito’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Danny Devito’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Danny Devito’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
