About this Dog
Looking for a loyal, loving pup who lives to make you feel special? Tulane is your guy. This sweet Shepherd mix is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He’ll nuzzle into your arms and wrap you in warmth just when you need it most. Once Tulane feels safe and loved, he’ll be your shadow, sticking close and offering companionship through every part of your day. Tulane is well trained at home. He’s both house-trained and crate-trained, making the transition into your life smooth. While he’s friendly with other dogs, Tulane would prefer to be the only dog in his house. He prefers a peaceful home where he can fully relax, soak up your love, and give you all his heart in return. When the world is overwhelming, Tulane knows the best place to find his own inner peace is in a pile of throw pillows. He is regularly found on the couch tucked in between several pillows, in a fort of his own making. To help him get less overwhelmed by the world Tulane takes a daily mental health medicine with his food, he's happy to gobble it right up with his breakfast and then the world is a bit less scary. Tulane has a condition called patellar luxation, affecting his kneecap, but with a few lifestyle adjustments, he’s still an active and joyful dog. The vet recommends avoiding long walks on pavement, but this doesn't keep him from living life to the fullest, he’s great at finding ways to entertain himself without putting stress on his knee. If you’re looking for an affectionate, and deeply loyal companion who will adore being by your side, Tulane is ready and waiting. Come meet him and you just might find the missing piece of your heart. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dental, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

Adopt Tulane and Receive Tulane's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tulane's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tulane's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tulane, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tulane's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tulane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tulane’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tulane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tulane’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
