About this Dog
Mom of James Bond's litter was bitten by a skunk on a SD Reservation, and the owner and vet they took her to suspected rabies. Mom was euthanized and rabies exam came back negative. They were left without a mom at less than 4 weeks of age. One of our amazing fosters said yes and became their momma. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. James Bond was adopted as a young puppy and was known as Scooby with his family. Due to allergies, they could no longer keep him. From the foster: Hi, I’m James Bond! I’m looking for my forever home! Could it be with you? I’ll tell you a bit about myself and you can decide. My foster mom’s nickname for me is JJ and she says I am the absolute sweetest boy! I love to get outdoors and play and I would really love a fenced-in yard, so I can run and play off-leash. I’m only 1 year old, and I still have lots of energy. However, it’s very manageable if I get a little exercise and a little training each day. I'm still in my slightly “rebellious” teenage years so sometimes need a bit of patience because of that! The great news is that I'm very food motivated and learn incredibly fast! I had very little training and had been in boarding when I came to my foster home a month ago. I’ve come so far in 1 short month, you wouldn't even know I was the same dog!! I've been working on basic commands such as sit, stay, come, off, leave it, down, place and kennel, and she says that I've learned so much so fast and that I'm going to make the best dog for my new family! My foster mom is so proud of my loose leash walking too! She says I'm super intelligent and would make a great agility dog! After a nice walk and short training session, I love to curl up on my dog bed and nap in the sun. Now that I’m settled into my foster home, I’m very good at letting my foster mom know when I have to go potty by scratching at the door. I love to cuddle and spend a ton of time with my favorite human. I sleep in my foster mom’s bed, and she is always telling people how great I am to sleep with. I sleep really hard and I’m almost always dreaming. Sleeping in her bed calms me down, and it helps me with my separation anxiety that I developed when I was in boarding. However, my foster mom feels I would also do great sleeping in her bedroom on my dog bed at night. I also kennel well at night if I’m able to be out during the day to have lots of human interaction. I get along really well with the dog and cats in my foster home, and I mostly stopped chasing the cats around! I actually cuddle calmly with them, as long as I’m settled down. Sometimes I can get really anxious with new people approaching my foster mom and I, but with proper introductions I’m very open to loves and pets after a few minutes. I love playing with my toys, especially stuffies. I can have fun playing by myself, but love it when another dog, cat or human joins in in my antics. I'm pretty silly with such unbridled joy and it's contagious!! One of my favorite things to do is to rummage around my toy basket to find my favorite toy! I love playing tug and chewing on bones. A good bone will keep me occupied for days!! I haven’t quite learned to play fetch yet, but I'm going to learn it this week!My foster mom brings me on lots of adventures and says I’m great in the car. I love to watch as the cars and buildings go by out the window. I have so much love to give and will be such an amazing dog in my new forever home! Please begin the process of claiming James Bond's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption.
