Meet Pearl, a petite, young Doberman with a heart full of love and legs built for zoomies! Found wandering the streets of Kansas alongside two littermates (Ember and Sophie), Pearl came into rescue underweight and unsure, but she hasn’t let her rough start dim her joyful spirit. She is estimated to be just over a year and a half old. She’s a true Velcro dog, happiest when she’s right by your side, following your every move with her big, curious eyes. Pearl is wonderfully social with other dogs and does great with cats, too. While she hasn’t been around young children just yet, she’s a quick learner and eager to please. She’s on the more timid side, especially in new environments, so she’ll thrive with a patient family willing to help her build confidence through positive exposure. There’s no food aggression or guarding behavior, just nonstop sweetness and energy. She’s still learning the basics (like Sit, Stay, and Down), but she’s doing great with her crate routine, sleeping soundly at night, and resting calmly while her foster family is away. All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pearl's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pearl was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pearl’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pearl’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pearl’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
