Meet Goldberg! Goldberg is a bright, curious pup with the energy to match his big personality. He’s been settling in well to his routine and is thriving with regular morning, evening, and bedtime walks—where he always takes care of business. Just keep an eye out for squirrels and rabbits, though—he’s quick and can’t resist the chase! After one great escape, his foster made the smart switch to a harness. Goldberg is crate-trained and sleeps soundly through the night. While he’s mostly quiet (only one bark so far!), he does have a few quirks—like a little tinkle when he gets overly excited and the occasional chewing mishap if left alone too long. His foster suspects it's a mix of curiosity and some separation anxiety. He hasn’t been formally introduced to other animals yet. While he shows interest in the dogs and cats he spots on walks, he gets a little unsure if they react strongly. He loves people, though, and is still learning that human fingers aren’t chew toys. Goldberg is full of potential and charm—he’s looking for a home that can keep up with his energy, help guide his curiosity, and give him all the love he deserves! Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Goldberg's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Goldberg was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Goldberg’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Goldberg’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Goldberg’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
