About this Dog
Hi, All! Kennedy & Kyle here -We call this sweet girl Roo!To the best of our knowledge, Roo was found as a stray in the south along with another pup from her litter. She was brought into a rescue in Mississippi and spent late November 2023 -early June 2024 with her wonderful & loving foster moms down there. Within those seven months, she made an incredible amount of progress in her confidence, gaining trust, and overall simply learning how to be a dog.So far on our personal journey with Roo, she is shy to start - sometimes timid - although that hasn’t made her any less easy to snuggle, handle, lead, and love on. She is comfy with being carried, and she is comfortable being touched all over including looking in her mouth, ears, and paws for nail trims...not to mention that she is the most polite dog in public and does well following your lead through stores, events, breweries, etc.Roo is great on a leash and not reactive! She is great in the car, socializes well she did not mind her cat siblings in her last foster home, and she overall does well in her kennel. We have noticed some possible separation anxiety in the mornings on the days where we are both in office, however with some help from anti-anxiety medication, it has been completely manageable. We don’t anticipate her needing that extra help forever, but we do see it benefitting her during a transition period with her forever family. She is curious and gentle. She loves to chew on her stuffies. After a few days, she has almost found her sassy woo-woo voice when she asks you to play with her! Other than that and some whining here and there, she hasn’t made a peep. Roo LOVES playing with other dogs. She would thrive in a home with another dog who can help guide her in confidence, but she would also thrive just as well with a confident, patient, and active human. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her as she loves to run and pounce around as if every day is the best day ever, but if you don’t have a fence, we could see her loving a few days a week at a Sniffspot location! At this point in time I don’t know that we’d recommend a boarding facility or daycare as the shelter life was very stressful for her in MS.We hope that you & yours consider Roo! She has so much love to give and deserves so much in return. As with all dogs, we’ll leave this current bio with a brief reminder of the 3-3-3 rule:3 days to decompress3 weeks to adjust to your routine and begin to feel a bit settled / may begin testing boundaries3 months to fully be themselves and bondTime, patience, empathy and consistency will be key for Roo to happily live as the best versionof herself! If you have previously applied with us please email [email protected] to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Adopt Faith and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Faith's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Faith's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Faith, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Faith's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Faith was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Faith’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Faith’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Faith’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
