About this Dog
Want to meet me? I will be at Dog Days Downtown in White Bear Lake on Saturday May 18th from 10:00-1:00 pm. Come to the Underdog booth in the Downtown Square near Washington & 4th in White Bear Lake 55110 for an Adoption Event. Please email [email protected] for questions regarding the dogs. Hi there, I’m Tommy! You might say I’m a little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At just two years old, I’ve been known to charm the socks off anyone I meet, showering them with kisses and soaking up all the attention I can get. I’m always on the move, whether I’m playing with toys, rolling around, or just keeping an eye on what’s happening around me. Now, I’ve got a confession to make—I’ve got a bit of a thing for chasing cats. Yep, you heard that right. If there’s a cat around, you can bet I’ll be barking up a storm, ready to give that feline friend a run for their money. So, if you’ve got a kitty at home, I might not be the best fit for you. But don’t worry, I’m not all bark and no bite! I love playing with people and other dogs, especially if it involves a game of fetch or a good chew on a bully stick or yak cheese bone. And while I’m pretty good with commands like sit and come, I’m still working on my house training, so I’ll need a little extra patience and reinforcement in that department. Now, about that fenced yard situation—I love having the freedom to run around and explore, but I’m small enough to squeeze through some fences if the spacing is too wide. So, a secure yard or a leash and harness combo would be ideal for me. But despite my penchant for mischief and cat-chasing, I promise I’m all love and cuddles. I’ve been called a charmer, a Romeo—heck, even a cutie patootie! And I’m ready to bring all that charm and affection to my forever home. So, if you’re looking for a little guy with a big heart, look no further than me, Tommy, your soon-to-be best friend! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***

Adopt Tommy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tommy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Tommy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Tommy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tommy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tommy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tommy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Tommy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tommy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
