Mama Myrtle is currently fostered with her eight babies and is ready for her own loving home. Yes, folks you read that right – EIGHT babies! This mama was found as a stray who managed to keep herself and all her babies alive on the streets before they came to The Rescue Crew. Now that’s one brave girl! She’s an excellent mama, always keeping a watchful eye on her babies and caring for them (you can see in her last picture how proud she is of her babies!). When she’s not on mom duty, she enjoys brushing and snuggles. She loves to play with teaser toys. She uses her litter box and scratching posts appropriately. And if you’re lucky, she just might strike up a conversation with you! She also gets along well with her foster’s resident cats and dogs. Myrtle is a striking young cat and is sure to get snapped up for her sweet and playful nature. Don’t miss your chance to meet this beauty!Note: Myrtle has an appointment for her spay surgery on August 5 and needs to stay with her foster while she recovers. She will be available to go to her furever home after her recovery the week of August 11.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
