Miss Ruby is a brave little explorer, venturing into new parts of her foster home every day with as much kitten fearlessness as she can muster. Ruby is a sweet girl who is currently fostered with her mama and her seven brothers and sisters (yes, mom had EIGHT babies). She is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys both playtime and cuddling. She gets along well with her feline companions and the household dogs. She has already mastered how to appropriately use both her litter box and scratching posts. Move fast because this little sweetie will get adopted fast!Note: Ruby has an appointment for her spay surgery on August 5 and needs to stay with her foster while she recovers. She will be available to go to her furever home after her recovery the week of August 11.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ruby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ruby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ruby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ruby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
