She is a shy kitten and hides when there are loud noises but very quickly gets comfortable and comes out to say hi. She is such a funny girl who will keep you laughing at her silly antics. She loves to run and play and sometimes gets so invested in chasing a toy or a sibling that she will crash into chairs, legs, or whatever is around. Bluey is an amazing purrer and always overjoyed to see her people. She loves to be carried around and her favorite spot is to be on your shoulder- whether you are sitting or standing. Bluey has so much love and is ready to find a forever home with lots of shoulders ready for her to snuggle.Bleu came to rescue with his two siblings, Camembert and Monterey Jack, and their mama Brie. These three kittens love to wrestle around and chase each other. They also get along with their foster family resident adult cats and dog.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bleu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bleu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bleu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bleu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
