About this Cat
Hi, I'm Camembert—Cami for short!Don't let my serious little tortie face fool you—I’m not judging you, I’m just deciding if you’re about to become my new favorite human. (Spoiler: you probably are.)I’m a curious, clever, and sweet-as-can-be kitten who wants to be part of everything you're doing. Whether you're working at a computer, folding laundry, or even sweeping the floor, I’ll be right there to supervise—and maybe offer a little “help.” My favorite place to be? Curled up in your arms, with my head tucked under your chin like a tiny purring scarf.I love to explore, chase toys, and run zoomies with other cats. I also get along great with dogs and am always up for a good play session with my humans (especially the ones holding a wand toy). Even the vacuum doesn't scare me for long—I might startle, but then I’m right back trying to figure out what that noisy thing is all about! When it’s time to wind down, I’ll find a cozy spot wedged between you and the couch or your chair—anywhere close to you is the perfect place for a nap.I'd thrive in a home with another young, playful cat who can match my energy and curiosity. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, snuggle buddy, and constant source of entertainment, I’m your girl.Adopt me, and let’s explore life together—one head snuggle at a time. Camembert came to rescue with her two siblings, Monterey Jack and Bleu, and their mama Brie. These three kittens love to wrestle around and chase each other all around. They also get along with their foster family resident adult cats and dog. Cami would do best with another young cat to help her get out her energy.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well

100% of Camembert's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Camembert.
Adopt Camembert and Receive Camembert's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Camembert's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Camembert's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Camembert, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Camembert's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Camembert was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Camembert’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Camembert’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Camembert’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
