About this Cat
Meet Rosie: A Quiet Soul with a Gentle HeartHi there, I’m Rosie—and if you’re the kind of person who appreciates the quiet magic of a peaceful companion, we just might be made for each other.I came to rescue with a litter of kittens and raised them with all the love in my heart. They’ve all found homes of their own, and now it’s finally my turn to be someone’s special girl.I’m a calm, independent lady who enjoys the simple pleasures: a soft spot to nap, a peaceful home, and the occasional head scratch (on my terms, of course). I might take a little time to warm up, but if you’re patient and kind, I’ll show you my affectionate side. I may not be the life of the party, but I’ll quietly be there—your cozy little shadow, content in your company.I do well with respectful, older kids who understand that not all cats are lap loungers. As for dogs… I’ll tolerate them if I must, but I’d definitely prefer a dog-free zone or a very calm canine roommate. I mostly keep to myself, but I’ll let you know when I’m in the mood for a little attention.Oh, and full disclosure: I have a bit of a rebellious streak and will try to make a run for it if a door is left open. So if you’ve got a secure home and maybe a sunny window for me to watch the world from, that’d be just perfect.I’ve waited patiently for nearly a year, hoping someone out there would see past my quiet nature and realize how special I am. If you’re looking for a low-key companion to share your days with, I’d love to finally come home.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.

100% of Rosie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Rosie.
Adopt Rosie and Receive Rosie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rosie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rosie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rosie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rosie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rosie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rosie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rosie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rosie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
