If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Hello everyone my name is Bruce, technically my name is Floyd but my foster mom has been calling me Bruce since she picked me up almost 2 months ago. When my foster mom picked me up, I was skin and bones and had 3 huge sores on my booty. Despite the hardship of my beginning, I am a loveable, goofy boy who loves life and has the best smile to show you! I love humans! Young, old, male, female it doesn’t matter I love you all. My foster mom thinks that I would do really well in a home as an only dog. I get along well with other dogs but I kind of just ignore them. I haven’t really shown any interest in joining the pack with the other dogs in my foster home. My foster mom has compared it to when kids are little and they don’t play together but they play next to each other which is fine by me! I do love chew toys and bones I also love soft stuffie toys however I tend to destroy them almost as fast as my foster mom can buy them so we typically stick to harder toys. I have learned some basic manners like sit and shake but am still working on not jumping and just basic listening skills. My foster mom says that I don’t listen worth a damn but it is kind of part of my charm. One of my favorite things to do is go for car rides. I love to sit in the front seat but will settle for the back if someone else gets there first. I love to sit and watch out the windows while going down the road. I am house trained and kennel trained but would prefer to be with my people. I am a bit of a barker when I hear someone at the door or you’re getting home from work. I just don’t want you to forget that I in my kennel! Shared walls are probably not the best idea because of this. I have a pretty mellow personality and am not a super active dog so my exercise needs are pretty low. I am very happy to just take a stroll through the yard and pee on trees no need to go for a run. My foster mom has tried to throw the ball for me and while I will chase after it (sometimes) I have no interest in putting that thing in my mouth. If you are interested in learning more about me fill out an application and let my foster mom tell you how awesome I am! Note from Foster mom:Bruce is an extremely special boy. He has so much love to give despite his ruff life prior to rescue. Bruce is going to need a home that is patient with him yet firm. He sometimes doesn’t listen, he counter surfs, digs in garbage’s and will eat any food he can get his paws on. While he loves everyone, I think maybe older kids are best so they can be mindful of food around him. He has never been aggressive with food with humans or other dogs but he still has yet to master being gentle when taking treats. There is not a mean bone in this goofy boy’s body. Bruce needs someone who understands his past and that he will most likely always be extremely excited by food and may never outgrow the quirks that he has developed from being starved. He has made HUGE strides in the 2 months that he has been with us and with a firm loving person he will continue to make progress.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.

Adopt Floyd and Receive Floyd's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Floyd's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Floyd's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Floyd, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Floyd's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Floyd was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Floyd’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Floyd’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Floyd’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
