This curious girl is a bundle of fun wrapped in soft fur and expressive eyes. She’s highly active, always on the lookout for something to bat around, climb, or chase—and don’t even think about leaving a tissue or paper towel within paw’s reach unless you want it shredded with enthusiasm. LillyAnna is a social butterfly with both animals and humans, though she takes a cautious moment to assess new situations. Once she settles in (which she did quickly even in a home with three resident cats), her affectionate, silly nature shines. She chirps instead of meowing—yes, chirps!—and is happy to “talk” to you or serenade you with her sing-song style when she’s excited. She’ll even greet you at the door and walk you out like a proper little hostess. She’s not a lap cat but definitely a people-cat: she likes to be near the action and enjoys being in the same space as her humans. She’s also wildly clever—she knows her name, responds to other pets’ names, enjoys watching cat videos on YouTube, and will let you know when it's time to change the channel. Her love of puzzles, vertical perching, and high-climbing adventures makes a tall cat tree or cat shelves a must in her future home. LillyAnna would be happiest in a home with another young, playful cat who can match her energy and play style. She’s respectful of other animals’ space and backs off if another cat gives her a warning. She’s well-behaved with dogs, hasn’t been around young kids yet, and is fully litter-trained. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LillyAnna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LillyAnna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the LillyAnna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LillyAnna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
