About this Cat
Age: 2 Temperament: Very high energy and playful. Henrie is a very busy boy that is very curious. He needs to be kept busy and gets bored very quickly. He adapts well and quickly to new environments. He is very sweet and loving. He likes to cuddle up next to you when he takes naps and will happily greet you when you come home. He always has a lot to say as well. :) Interactions with Other Cats/Dogs: Henrie is very curious and interested in other cats. He lived alone but had some interactions with other family cats. He chirps and wants to play with them. He has never hissed or been aggressive towards other cats. Sometimes he makes other cats nervous because he plays rough. I was told he would do well with another confident, same-sized cat. I was told he was around a dog as a kitten and did well with them. I think his play style would mesh well with a dog. Behavioral issues: Henrie demonstrates play aggression due to being a singleton as a kitten. He plays very rough and can bite/scratch very hard without realizing it. He does play attack randomly and intensely and has drawn blood. His body language is never aggressive, however. I think part of this is due to boredom too as he is very high energy. He appears to require lots of play time/stimulation. I think he would do well in a larger environment like a house with a yard and with another pet companion. When he is busy, this behavior is much less frequently, but I can't sustain this level of attention he needs nor do I have the environment that meets his needs. If he has another cat companion who is confident like him, I was told this may help further curb his play aggression. Henrie has an adorable head tilt due to a ruptured eardrum as a kitten. It does not impact his daily life and his last vet visit was 7/2025 and he was deemed healthy. No medical intervention is needed.

Adopt Henrie and Receive Henrie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Henrie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$5 is Henrie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Henrie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Henrie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Henrie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Henrie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Henrie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Henrie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
