About this Rabbit
Howdy! I’m Loretta - just like the queen of country music, Loretta Lynn. I may not sing, but I do have star power: equal parts glamorous and grounded. I’m an agouti Flemish Giant with long legs, a big heart, and a flair for making people fall in love with me. Found thin and covered in ticks, I’ve turned that hard-luck story into a small-town-girl-makes-it-big kind of tale. I’m friendly, curious, and always looking for a good place to stretch out and enjoy the good life. I’ll sploot for pets, explore around the house, and make you laugh with my sass and smarts. I like being part of the people action - especially if it involves ear rubs, floor-time hangs, or a good back massage. I’m not a fan of being scooped up, but once I’m in your arms I tend to settle in close… for a little while. Then I’ll politely request to get back to zooming and exploring. I’ll happily sample any veggies and I won’t turn down a slice of apple, a piece of banana, or a bunny treat like Orchard rings or Apple biscuits. And those little hide-the-treat games? I’m a pro. I like to pretend I’m helping my foster mom find the treats she forgot she hid. I love to chew on cardboard, pinecones (de-pointed), and Timothy cubes. I’ve found wooden things to be tasty, so a bunny-proofed home is a must for me. I haven’t met any cats or dogs yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them. I do well with children as long as they’re gentle and respectful. I haven’t had the chance to meet any other bunnies, so I’m not sure if I’d enjoy having a bond mate, as I can be a little particular about my space. If you’ve had a rabbit before, I might still catch their scent and feel the need to mark until I’m confident everything belongs to me. One thing to know about me: I have a favorite spot on the bed, right between my foster parents. My foster mom thinks it’s her spot too, but I like to remind her that it’s actually mine. Sometimes that reminder involves a little marking, so potty pads are helpful just in case. Other than that, my litter box habits are excellent - everything stays exactly where it should. I’m looking for a family to call mine, with a space where I can run, binky, and show off my moves - could that be yours? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 4/2/2024 Approximate weight: 7.05 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

100% of Loretta's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Loretta.
Adopt Loretta and Receive Loretta's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Loretta's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Loretta's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Loretta, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Loretta's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Loretta was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Loretta’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Loretta’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Loretta’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
