About this Rabbit
Greetings, traveler! I am Gandalf, the wise and noble free-roaming bun of this realm. I dwell in the great expanse of the basement, a land free of peril and perfectly bunny-proofed for my wandering paws. I do not seek to gnaw upon wood, but I am a master of shaping my cardboard domains, digging and shredding until they suit my liking. My skills in cleanliness rival those of the elves—I am most disciplined in my use of the litterbox, though now and then, a stray cocoa puff may escape my grasp. With proper preparation, I would fare well as a free-roaming companion in your own halls. Ah, but let us speak of the true magic that fuels my spirit—food! A grand feast of Romaine, Cilantro, and Parsley graces my plate each day, and lo, when a slice of banana appears, my very being trembles with joy! Even my pellets, those glorious nuggets of sustenance, are treasures to be sought—sometimes hidden within my tunnel or bestowed upon me in a rolling treat ball. I am a loyal companion and will greet you upon your arrival, for I am ever watchful. Be mindful of your steps, for I may follow in your shadow, a silent guardian at your heels. My foster mother calls me a “helper,” for I must always know what great tasks are at hand. Yet, like all great wizards, I have my moments of stern wisdom. Should one seek to pet me when I am not inclined, I may issue a small warning—a grunt, perhaps even a noble boxing of paws. Fear not, for never have I bitten any who cross my path! When I am dining, however, I shall gladly accept pets upon my head, ears, and body. With time and patience, I shall grow most comfortable in your presence. I have not ventured far beyond my domain, save for meetings with fellow bunnies at our Romp gatherings, and I know not how I would fare with other creatures. I would do best as the only bunny in the home. So, if you seek a steadfast companion on your journey, I bid you come forth! Let us see if fate has intertwined our paths, and perhaps, you shall be the one to take this wizard home. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com . Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 03/01/2024 Approximate weight: 6 lbs. Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Gandalf and Receive Gandalf's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gandalf's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gandalf's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gandalf, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gandalf's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gandalf was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gandalf’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gandalf’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gandalf’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
