About this Rabbit
Hi there! My name is Sebastiana, and I’m a bunny with a story to tell. I came into rescue after a kind neighbor discovered me roaming outside her home. I was a bit lost and scared, but thankfully since then I’ve had a cozy, safe space filled with all the delicious food I could wish for. Speaking of food, I absolutely love my meals! My favorite greens include: green and red leaf lettuce, arugula, romaine, and cilantro. I’m also a fan of pellets, berries, radicchio, the occasional carrot, parsley, basil, and even banana! Mealtime is a highlight of my day - I can jump so high with excitement when I see my food coming! I’m not a fan of being touched just yet, but I’m working on it every day! I enjoy spending time with trusted people on my own terms. When new people let me approach them, I might sniff or even nibble a finger to say hello, but I still need my space to feel comfortable. I have a wild side and a very independent streak. I probably would do best in a loving, patient home as the only pet. My foster mom has a friendly dog, but even though she assures me he just wants to be friends, I see him as a prey animal. I have not met any cats. I’m a bit territorial, especially with the other bunnies in the house as I like to mark my space. Other than that, my litter box habits are very good. I have some adorable quirks that make me extra special. When I lay down, I look like I am wearing little grey slippers—how cute is that? I absolutely love my snuffle mat and enjoy finding treats in my stacking cups. I do really well with a schedule and like to spend time on my own during the day, but I’m slowly getting used to socializing with humans. One of my favorite things is spending time outdoors (supervised of course!). My foster mom often opens the door near my xpen so I can take in the sights and sounds outside. I’m hearing impaired, so I may not always hear you coming, but my other senses are always alert to the world around me! I'm more prone to ear infections due to the shape of my lop ears, so I need weekly ear cleanings and annual checkups to make sure they stay healthy. I’m looking for a family that understands my reservations and will be patient while I get to know them. If you’re someone who appreciates a bunny with a gentle spirit and a hint of wildness, I might just be the perfect companion for you! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 5/30/2023 Approximate weight: 4.7 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Sebastiana and Receive Sebastiana's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sebastiana's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sebastiana's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sebastiana, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sebastiana's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sebastiana was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sebastiana’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sebastiana’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sebastiana’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
