About this Rabbit
Hi there! My name’s Dewie, but my friends call me Dewie-boo or Doodlebug (I answer to all three, depending on how cute I'm feeling that day). I’m a bold, curious bun with a big personality and a heart just as big. I’m the kind of rabbit who greets you at the door, demands head rubs, and isn't shy about letting you know when you’re standing in my spot. I’ve got a strong sense of adventure and zero fear when it comes to new places. You’ll find me up on tables, couches, or in odd corners before you even finish asking, “Where’d she go?” When I’m not off on an expedition, I’m flopped out under my favorite cardboard house, dreaming of hay buffets and tunnels to nowhere. I take my litterbox manners seriously, and I’m pretty easygoing with other rabbits. I haven't met cats or dogs in this new chapter of life, but given my past outside where I had to fend for myself, I’ve probably learned to keep a safe distance. These days, I’m living the indoor life, grateful to be warm, safe, loved, and completely tick-free. The vet thinks I’m about 3 or 4 years old, which in bunny time means I’m full of life with just the right balance of spunk and chill. I’ll thrive in a free-roam setup that’s fully bunny-proofed. Give me room to zoom, corners to flop, and humans to charm, and I’ll make myself right at home. Ready for a little mischief, a lot of personality, and a bunny who’s absolutely one of a kind? I just might be your girl. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 6/19/2021 Approximate weight: 5.62 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Dewie and Receive Dewie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dewie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dewie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dewie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dewie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dewie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dewie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dewie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dewie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
