About this Rabbit
How do you do? My name is Wendell, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! I know—I’m an extremely handsome boy. But don’t worry, I haven’t let it go to my head. I come from humble beginnings as a dumped bunny on the run. Thankfully, a kind lady found me and contacted Rabbit Rescue of MN. Let me tell you, this indoor bunny life is pretty amazing. I have exquisite litter box habits. Foster Mom says I’m so tidy, I could teach the other rabbits in the house a thing or two about bathroom manners. I'm a very good boy, and with proper bunny-proofing, I’d make an excellent free-roam bun. I enjoy nibbling on chew toys, snoozing in (and sometimes on) my hidey box, crawling through my tunnel, and munching on delicious piles of fresh hay. I look forward to my morning and evening Oxbow pellets—and if you're running late, don’t worry, I’ll toss my food dish around to remind you. I’m not a fan of being picked up or carried, but I absolutely adore floor pets and chill time at my level (the ground!). Sometimes, I’ll even give you kisses to say thank you. When I’m really happy, I love to zoom and binky around the room to show my joy. I would do best in a calm home where I can feel safe and loved. Could that be with you? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com . Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: Spring 2023 Approximate weight: 4.8 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed / neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com . For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Wendell and Receive Wendell's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wendell's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Wendell's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Wendell, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Wendell's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wendell was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wendell’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wendell’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wendell’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
