About this Rabbit
Hi there, I’m Roscoe! I’m a Dutch rabbit with classic good looks and a friendly personality to match. I’m the kind of bun who runs to greet you when you walk in the room - usually through my favorite tunnel. I can’t help it; it’s part of my routine, and it makes the trip even more fun! I’m a curious explorer with a lot of energy during run time. I love zooming around, hopping through tubes, and finding new places to investigate. One of my favorite spots is behind a fleece blanket draped over my ex-pen - it’s kind of my secret hideout and play zone. When I’m really feeling good, you might catch me doing some binkies, I’ve been told they’re pretty cute! When I’ve had enough exploring, I’ll come find you for some attention. I especially enjoy head and cheek rubs - those are the best! I don’t need constant company, but I do like a moderate amount of interaction and petting. I’ll check in with you between sprints during my free roam time, just to say hi and get a few strokes before I’m off again. My current routine works well for me. I start the day with some salad and Oxbow pellets, and of course, a fresh refill of timothy hay. I graze and nap in my pen throughout the day, usually loafing in my favorite corner. Evenings are when I get most of my run time. After that, it’s dinner salad and more hay. My litter box habits are improving. I wasn't fully trained when I came into rescue, but I’m getting the hang of it. A few poops land outside the box now and then, but nothing too dramatic. A long litter box helps a lot, and I’m on a good track with some patience and consistency. I don’t mind being solo if I get plenty of human attention, but I’d probably do well with a bunny bond mate, too. I haven’t had much interaction with kids, cats, or dogs, so I’d need a slow and careful introduction if any of those are part of your world. While I explore pretty independently, supervision is still important - there are lots of things to chew that aren’t meant for rabbits! Grooming’s no big deal for me. I actually enjoy being brushed and petted, especially after I’ve tired myself out. Treat-wise, I’m into blueberries, strawberries, or carrots. I also really like those Selective Naturals Meadow Loops! If you’re looking for a sweet, active companion who’ll greet you at the gate and keep you entertained with his tunnel antics, I just might be your bun! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 06/18/2020 Approximate weight: 4.06 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Roscoe and Receive Roscoe's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roscoe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Roscoe's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Roscoe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roscoe's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roscoe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roscoe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roscoe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roscoe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
