About this Dog
Hi! My name is Rocky officially, but my foster family calls me Bogey (because I’m fast and I’m always on your six!). I’m a Terrier/Cattle Dog mix extraordinaire. What is my actual breed? Your guess is as good as mine. I’m about a year old, so I’m still a puppy. My foster mom says that I’m just a perfect boy. I’m a real family dog. I’m friendly, loyal to the end of the Earth, and always ready for an adventure. I have a sweet disposition, and I love human attention. I know how to ham it up. Right now I live with 3 cats and 3 kids. I do great with all, aside from knocking over kids when I get the zoomies or getting excited when I hear the word “outside.” Oops sorry! With other dogs, I’m fine as long as the other dogs are nice when we meet, I’m down to play with whoever, but I do best with submissive dogs. Honestly, I’m way more concerned about my humans…I need to be by their side and keep track of them first and foremost. My other favorite activities include carrying my bone, or carrying a toy around, helping with gardening, and squirrel/rabbit patrol. My foster mom has chickens too...but I’m not allowed to be with the chickens because I think they look delicious. Oops. Sorry! I’m very athletic and have a lot of puppy energy, so I need an active family. I can do jumps like you’ve never seen. I can also pull a sled full of kids. If you saw me at play, you’d swear I was half rabbit and half deer. I walk great and I even do bike rides on a leash with my mom too. I really like my exercise, because I'm a working breed, so if you don't enjoy bike riding with me, walks and runs are okay. I am an expert bike harness runner though, so I hope you're interested in seeing that! I am completely potty trained and have never had an accident in the house. I’m a cattle dog/heeler mix, so if you’re not cattle dog savvy, let me explain something to you. Cattle dogs use their mouths for almost everything. We enjoy carrying around stuffies and toys because it helps keep our mouths busy. We do “yaps” into the air, where we just chomp at the air for no reason. It’s fun to watch. On top of that, I’m also still a puppy, so you just have to be patient with my yappy yaps and get to know my cattledog-ness. We are a cool breed. My only “quirk” is that I hate my crate. I’m learning. It’s new to me. I’ve never been put in doggy jail prior to my current home so it scares me. I think over time I will get much better. I just need to know that you’re coming back and I’m not stuck in there for life! With this being said, no shared walls for me (apartments, townhouses, condos...etc). If you need a family dog that is ready to roll up to the breweries, waterfalls, hiking trails, biking, I'm your guy. Let’s go!!

Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocky D6067’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocky D6067’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
