About this Dog
Hello my name is Adele! I’m thought to be an Italian Greyhound, fancy I know! I’m a sweet little lady just learning how to be a dog after 9 years in a puppy mill! Stuck in a tiny cage, I’ve lived with unspeakable cruelty so it’s going to take time to adjust to any new environment. I’d love a companion or family who will be extremely patient with me. Having another confident dog in the house would also help teach me how to behave like a dog! I’ve had all my teeth removed recently but I'm already feeling so much better! I will eat kibble but my foster mama likes to make me delicious shakes of canned food to enjoy. I’m still learning about potty training, and hard floors and pee pads are working for me in the meantime. Sometimes my foster mama makes me go outside and explore. It’s still really scary to me but I’m trying to follow the other dog here! I have a cute little stroller we take walks in now. It's pretty scary but I just need slow introductions to things and I’m told everything will be ok. I’m also unsure about cats and little kids, they make me nervous so I bark to show my concern. I do have some fear of males (remember humans have been horrible to me until now) but like everything I’m taking time to adjust to being a free dog. Sight hounds are known to be extremely sensitive and very loyal to their owners!
