About this Dog
Hey there! My name is Yogi aka Yogi Bear, Yogi Butt, Yogiiieeee....depends who is calling my name.. I am a young pup who was born January 30, 2024 and came into rescue with my mama and my siblings. Since moving on from my original family, I now live in my foster home with two other dogs (one big, one small like me), a couple of cats and some human kids. Basically, I have plenty of company which is something that I would love to have in my future forever home. I can be a little hesitant of bigger dogs when I first meet them, and will give them space until they give me the okay to play. But if the dog is willing to play with me, then sign me up! The cats in the house don't seem to mind me (I hear thats a good thing?!?!) but I will once in a while chase them for fun, never to try to hurt them of course. The human kids are older and have experience with young puppies so they don't mind when I confuse their hand for a chew toy (forgive me, I have puppy teeth!). I keep hearing my foster mom tell others that I am a pretty easy pup to have around...I do a great job balancing out my energetic side and my calm side. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I often to get to accompany my humans to their sporting events in which I get to meet new people who are always willing to give me pets, and I soak up every moment of attention! I have learned sit, shake and lay down and walk pretty well on my leash. I also know to go to the door when I need to do my business, but once outside can get distracted easily by all the smells so may not always use outside for its intended purpose (again, I'm still young, so will have accidents). We are working on the crate training and although I am not a big fan of it, you can find me randomly taking a nap in it during the day (we are working on sleeping in it during the night but...its a work in progress...) So yeah, I am a puppy. I have alot to learn. But, I know that I will make a great addition to a family that is willing to help me learn all those new things! Could that be you?? Sincerely, Yogi
