About this Dog
Meet Dora the Explorer! (Yes, her name was supposed to be Doro... but someone clearly missed a letter and now she’s living her best adventurer life.) Just like her cartoon namesake, Dora is always on the lookout for her next big journey — and she’s hoping it includes you! At just 3 years old, this spunky, spirited girl is packed with energy, curiosity, and a passion for living life to the fullest. Adventure Buddy Wanted Dora is the perfect sidekick for anyone who loves exploring. Whether it’s romping around the backyard, playing with a canine pal, or learning new things, she’s all in. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her zoomies and treasure hunts — she hasn’t tried a leash just yet, so off-leash freedom in a secure area is her current preference. Best with Pals, Not Shared Walls She’d be thrilled to have a doggy friend to share her adventures with, and she’s also had a chance to meet some feline friends — and did great! With the proper introductions, she could happily share her kingdom with a cat buddy too. Just note: apartment living isn't her style — her enthusiasm for life (and probably the occasional excited bark) makes her a better fit for a home without shared walls. The Fine Print Dora’s still learning the ropes of potty training, so some patience and routine will go a long way. She’s scheduled to be spayed on August 12th, and will be ready to start her forever journey about a week later — just in time for cozy fall walks, backyard leaf piles, and pumpkin spice everything. Are You Ready to Explore with Dora? If you’re looking for a loyal, lively, and lovable companion with a zest for life, Dora’s got her backpack (well… maybe a collar) ready to go. Let’s find her the perfect trail to her forever home!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Doro D6104 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Doro D6104’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Doro D6104’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Doro D6104’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
