About this Dog
Laverne & Shirley's family moved away and left them behind, not only alone, but outside. Neighbors were feeding them until animal control came to get them and take them to the shelter. Shirley is the older of the two and isn't in as good medical shape as Laverne. She has received her routine vetting and was treated for LOTS of intestinal parasites. We are giving her a little time for that and to put a few pounds on then will get her scheduled to be spayed. Shirley is VERY sweet and is good with other dogs. 2/2 UPDATE: Shirley is scheduled to be spayed on 2/4. We will give her a little time to recover from surgery then she will be moving to her Indiana foster home! 2/6 UPDAT: Our beautiful girl did amazing with her spay surgery! She also had a few bumps removed that we sent out for pathology. She is going to spend a few more days recovering at the clinic then she will be on her way to her foster mom!
