This sweet and affectionate girl is the total package—elegant, playful, and incredibly well-mannered. Currently in foster care with two other Great Danes (yes, the couch is officially full in her awesome foster home!), Ruby has proven to be a joyful and easy-going companion. She is: ✅ Fully vetted – spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped ✅ House-trained and crate-trained ✅ Well-behaved indoors – the best roommate you could ever ask for! Ruby loves car rides, adores the company of other dogs, and is wonderful with cats. She’s respectful of fences and thrives in a calm, loving environment. Her favorite activities include attending doggy daycare, going for walks (she’s a huge fan!), playing dress-up, and curling up on the couch for a good movie and cuddle session. She’s also proudly the reigning queen of the “stare down”—a game she plays with her canine companions in the foster home. It’s all in good fun, of course, and part of her gentle but playful personality. And just a heads-up—Ruby snores. When she’s in a deep sleep, she’ll open her mouth wide and let out the most endearing, full-on Great Dane snorkles you’ve ever heard. It’s equal parts hilarious and heart-melting! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ruby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ruby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ruby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ruby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
