About this Dog
Solstice is a typical busy little puppy who LOVES children as young as 7, dogs as big as 55 lbs, and cats who do not run. She is excited to learn and follow you everywhere. She loves to play and cuddle. She is the outgoing exuberant one between her and her sister. She cannot get enough adventure in life and would benefit from an active family who can give her the time and attention she needs to excel. She is super smart and cuddly and loves to ride in the car on your lap. She is so social it is comical. Wants to meet all pets she meets but does need submissive dogs when it comes to her toys and be supervised with small children and high value items such as her toys as she hasn't yet learned to share. She is great at keeping her kennel clean for several hours but is not yet potty trained. She is quiet once she knows you left the house when in her kennel and will whimper and lightly bark when you get home so she reminds you she needs out. A sweet cuddly girl. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Solstice was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Solstice’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Solstice’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Solstice’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
