About this Dog
Willow is a gorgeous 5 year old husky who came to us as an owner surrender. It was a very difficult decision for her family but they discovered that their youngest child was severely allergic to her. Willow has been fully vetted, is chipped, and her fee is $150. Willow is a fairly easy going gal who is friendly and affectionate. She has the overall cool personality of a husky, with just the right amount of mischief mixed in. She has lived with kids and has done well with other dogs. Cats are most likely a no for her. She will require a good bit of exercise to keep her happy and needs a secure environment as huskies do like to run. She will need regular grooming to keep her coat looking marvelous. Husky experience is not required but is helpful! Note: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.

Adopt Willow and Receive Willow's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Willow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Willow's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Willow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willow's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
