About this Dog
Django was born at our shelter in Aug., 2020 and adopted as a young puppy. He has always lived in the same home. His family dynamic has recently changed dramatically and they have made the difficult decision to find him a new home. Due to overcrowding at our shelter, Django is still living with them and we're hoping to get some interest in him without bringing him to the shelter. He is fully vetted and his adoption fee will be paid by his current family. Django is a really big boy and can be pretty protective of his person/people. With his people he's very loyal and loving. He was raised with a smaller dog and cats. He's looking for a home with some experience with large, strong dogs. He will require good exercise and a home in which he's not left alone for long hours. He's not a dog for apartment living. ADULT only home. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.

Adopt Django (in foster) and Receive Django (in foster)'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Django (in foster)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Django (in foster)'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Django (in foster), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Django (in foster)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Django (in foster) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Django (in foster)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Django (in foster)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Django (in foster)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
