Boba was accepted directly in to the Mower County Humane Society on 1/3/25 instead of sending her directly to the Austin City Pound. She had what turned out to be a broken pelvis. She was kept in a "restful" confinement to allow healing and is now ready for adoption. Boba was born probably in June, 2024. She is a very sweet-minded girl who does great with the volunteers and with the other pets here at MCHS. Adoption fee is $80 with a completed adoption application which is available at mchs.rescuegroups.org. Boba is spayed and current on shots and has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. She has fully recovered from her injury. She is also living in a foster home. If interested, please fill out the application and we will arrange the meeting! After we receive the adoption application, we will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. We are located off of I-90 via exit 180 B to 218 SOUTH. We are just past our local airport. THANKS.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Boba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Boba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Boba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Boba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
