Victory was rescued from the Austin City Pound in November, 2024, He is a very shy boy who has been on his own for some time. We are working with him and we can pet him--especially when we have given him a canned food treat! As of Jan, 2025 he does not allow us to pick him up. We are hoping! He is now neutered and current on shots and he tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. We are looking for a special home for this guy--somewhere where he will be given time, love and patience to adapt. Adoption fee is $80 and an application is required. Go to mchs.rescuegroups.org--we will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time. You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. We are located off of I-90 via exit 180 B to 218 SOUTH, just past our local airport. Thanks.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Victory was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Victory’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Victory’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Victory’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
