Kipper was found in Mower County and brought in to MCHS on 2/25/23. He is about 2 years of age. Kipper is a very friendly guy who is now neutered and current on shots. He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. We are looking for a loving, indoor only home for Kipper. He does seem to do well with other cats. The person who found him had him with her 4 cats before he came to MCHS and he did fine. Kipper's adoption fee is $80. A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS. To meet Kipper or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application. We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH. We are just past our local airport. THANKS.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kipper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kipper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kipper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kipper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
