Below is the bio written by the owner of the dog.** Hi everyone, Meet Sebastian. This boy is 2 years old and a very handsome white and brown brindle Amstaff Terrier/ small % Lab mix weighing 70 pounds. Sebastian is also DEAF since birth. He has lived in a home with his human mom and his Amstaff fur sister. He relied on cues from both of them on meal times, playtime, in and out time and all the daily things. His original owner became very ill and could no longer care for him or his sibling and both were in search of a new family. Sebastian is still looking and has adjusted well without his doggie friend. He has been through a lot of changes the past months. Some things to know about Sebastian. He is current on vetting and is neutered. He has lived with another dog and currently resides with an adult cat(who is fine with him but chooses not to play). He does really like all people but may be best with bigger children due to size and energy. Definitely a bit of a Velcro / snuggle dog. He is potty trained and will go out on leash, cable or fenced yard. There has not been any fence jumping but he does have some legs on him and energy to boot so should be watched. He seems to be a bit timid of the dark when out in the fenced yard. He is crate trained but does need some coaxing going in at times and prefers nothing covering the crate. He has shown some signs of food guarding and his current caregiver is working on that. When in a controlled structured situation he is good at taking treats. Once he gets a little control of his behaviors through training he will wait as expected for food. He knows how to look at me, sit and down pretty well and will keep practicing. He is working on wait, leash walking, come and shake. Treats being given: He takes his treats gently as long as he is in tune to the giver and we are working on self control. He loves his treats. He's very good with baths, loves toys, loves stuffies during their 5 minute life time. His personality is full of happy energy and love for all. He can do zoomies often and pretty much anywhere.
