About this Dog
Name: Mia Adoption Fee: $0.00 Nicknames: MiaBelles Age or Date of Birth: Approximately 1-2 years old Activity Level: I’m young and love to play! But I can crash just as hard. Things I do in my free time: chew toys, bones, balls and more! Things I know: Sit, shake, lay down, “kennel”, “inside”. Things I am learning/currently working on: I’m diligently working on “off” or “down” as I get very excited when my humans come home from work! I’m very treat-motivated so it makes training me easier. Who I currently live with (humans and animals): 2 adults, no children, 4 other dogs. How I do with kids: unknown but I’m extremely friendly, just make sure I don’t accidentally knock down any little ones in my excitement! How I do with dogs: I love playing with other male dogs but appear to have issues with female dogs. I might do best in a home without other pets or I need a slower introduction to other pets/dogs in the household. How I do with cats: unknown. My foster family has no cats. My current size: 48lbs How I do in my kennel: Great! I respond to “kennel”, and I settle down right away once inside. How I do in car rides: Love em! I love being included in everything my foster family does. Love looking out the car windows. Am I house trained?: Yes. I am taken out a few times throughout the day as my foster mom works from home part of the time but am also able to hold it for a regular workday or for sleeping overnight. Additional Info from foster: Are you looking for your new best friend? Nice to meet you! My name is Mia, as I am “M I A” from my last home! I showed up as a stray dog, right on my foster mom’s front porch. They did so much to try and find my previous family, but we just don’t know where I came from. I’m so grateful that my foster family wanted to keep me, but I had a disagreement with one of their dogs and they realized we just can’t get along. I just want to play, and all their dogs are elderly and aren’t interested in a playtime pal. I would do best in a single-dog household; though if other dogs are living in the home, please please give me a chance to warm up and see if we are compatible! I would also do best with a family who has had dogs before or is experienced with younger dogs and are familiar with the training I need. My foster family is getting me into obedience training shortly so I’ll be ready for my new home soon! I’m also spayed and up to date on my current shots, so I’m ready for that coveted spot in your warm and inviting home. Will you give me a chance? Adopt Mia and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mia's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mia's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
