About this Cat
Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at [email protected] to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. Aurora, who goes by Rory, was an outside cat that relied on kind people to put food out for her. They decided to try and TNR her to prevent kittens, but when they got her inside, realized she was way too sweet to be spayed and put back outside. After Rory was in a foster home, and then moved to our adoption center, she has fully blossomed into a cat who loves attention from people. She is extremely affectionate and getting more-so every day. She is fine with other cats, but has not been around dogs while in our care. I would really love to see her to go a home with another friendly cat. She could use the companionship, as well as continue her "training" on how to be a normal indoor cat. She does have a couple cat friends at the adoption center, so if you are interested in adopting two cats, they Rory could go home with a friend. If you are interested in Rory, please email [email protected]. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

Adopt Rory and Receive Rory's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rory's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rory's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rory, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rory's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rory was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rory’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rory’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rory’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
