About this Dog
Tottie is needing a loving home asap! He is running out of time and needs someone who is familiar with his breed and will understand his needs. He is fully house and crate trained, loves meeting new people and does well with any kids he has met, however has never been in a home with them. Unsure about cats (I imagine he would do well with a slow/gentle introduction), but is great with other dogs. He has a small history of defensive aggression, and is protective, which im willing to provide more information on. He loves his people- and he will do anything to keep his family safe. We are unfortunately unequipped to deal with such, and already have not been able to meet his needs as much as we’d hoped, and shows NO other behavioral concern. I believe he would thrive in a low to mid energy environment, as he is about 3.5 he has plenty of room for play time. He is good in public on and off leash, responds quickly, and good with basic commands.

How will Tottie receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tottie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Tottie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tottie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tottie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Tottie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tottie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
